Student Gets to Ride to School Like a Firefighter

Her aunt won the ride at a raffle sponsored by firefighters and gave it to her niece.

Isabella Everett, a kindergartner at J in Benicia got a ride to school on a fire truck Thursday morning. Firefighters from had the honor of escorting the youngster to school. 

The ride was a gift from her aunt, Kathy York who won the ride during the Relay for Life.

Benicia firefighters raised an extra $735 at the event selling t-shirts and raffle tickets for the ride to work or school.
