Caleb Burrill was born in Blue Hill, Maine, to Jayne Alley and Dana Burrill. He immediately took the world by surprise and his family knew he was someone special and full of fight.
Caleb was a sportsmen in high school, playing both basketball and football and graduated in 1993 from Bucksport High School in Bucksport, ME. After a few years Caleb found his way as a Tank Driver in the U.S. Army in a peace keeping mission with the 4th Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment Delta Company in the Bosnian War. Later, Caleb found his knack as a Project Manager for companies that dealt with super graphics and large format prints. A job he dedicated himself to and absolutely loved waking up to each day and meeting his clients and co-workers. A job that took him places, eventually to "Sunny California" in June of 2011 and where he met his true love, fiance Shannon Magee.
Caleb was a man that loved to laugh, loved life. He would light up any room he walked into and anyone who encountered him, immediately wanted to befriend him. He shared his love for music, comedy, seeing the new sights of California and food! But he was genuine and would do anything for anyone, never negative and always positive.
He was a true warrior in his fight with melanoma till the end. Caleb passed away peacefully at home with loved ones by his side. He leaves behind the love of his life, his fiance Shannon Magee, his beloved dog Mr. Poop, Mother Jayne Alley, Father Dana Burrill, Brother Josh Clement, Aunts and Uncles: Paul and Brenda Mercer, Christine and Richard Dunham, Douglas and Caroyln Alley, Cousins: Carly and Kyle Mercer, Grandparents Geraldine and Russell Archer, Mother and Father-in-law-to-be John and Janice Magee and other sibling and many other family and close friends. Our Hearts Are Empty and You Will Truly Be Missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held after the New Year in Sausalito, for West Coast family and friends. Arrangements in Maine will be made and for both, details to follow.
