Walking Against Cancer: 2013 Relay For Life

Dozens of teams are out at St. Patrick-St. Vincent's track to take a stand against cancer by walking it out.

The 2013 Relay For Life is in full swing on the 100th anniversary of the American Cancer Society. Walkers will stroll or run around the track in honor or in memory for loved ones affected by cancer for 24 hours.

Children are enjoying the many games and a Kid Zone activity tent. Many are enjoying the warm weather and dozens of food vendors available.

Perhaps one of the most emotional aspects of this event comes as the sun goes down and the luminaries are lit.

DJ music is being played to motivate the walkers and various musical acts will perform throughout the day.
