Peter Loves Gloria by Hector Timourian

Poor Peter, trying to impress Gloria
Found himself in a bind
Unable to match her opera and art euphoria
For he was tone deaf and color blind

He fell asleep at inopportune time
For to him Puccini’s opera was boring
She accused him of committing a crime
For distressing her with his rhythmic snoring

Gloria became even more livid
When visiting a museum of art
Although her explanations were quite vivid
He just thought all paintings were dull and tart

When Peter saw images
Of Picasso’s women
He charmed Gloria by whispering
“Seeing your beautiful face
I now understand Cubism space.
