Rolando Barrero's artist reception

Award-winning watercolorist Rolando Barrero is the March featured artist at the Benicia Plein Air Gallery, 307 First Street, in downtown Benicia.  His street scenes display subtleties of light and color resulting in a unique sense of place and moment. 
The public is invited to his gallery reception on Saturday, March 10, from 4 to 6 p.m.  The cooperative gallery, housed in an historic downtown building, shows the outdoor paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastel of 14 local artists Thursday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
