Here is the message from the store’s Facebook page:

Dear Friends and Valued Customers:

After much deliberation we have decided to retire from retail and close our store. We will enjoy the retirement we promised ourselves 30 years ago. But, we will also be closing the door on a 30 year relationship with Benicia Bay customers that we literally grew up with. We will miss that relationship the most.

Our entire inventory including Brighton, Vera Bradley, Baggallini, Melissa & Doug, Lollia, Crabtree & Evelyn and Thymes will be priced for clearance. Everything in the store will go! (Even our chocolates and Moonstruck Truffles!) Store fixtures and equipment will also be for sale.
Our retirement sale starts Thursday 7/25 at 11am. Please come early for your favorite needs.

Sincere and many thanks for all the years that you have supported us.
