Bites Nearby: Robert's China Garden

Perched on the second floor, this restaurant completes the Patch patrol of the East Fifth and Military East intersection.

You could stand on a corner and look around until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Periodically, Benicia Patch picks a great restaurant in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here's this week's choice: .

Whether you are here to dine in or for takeout, Robert Hung serves each dish freshly cooked. You can get standards like sweet and sour pork or cashew chicken. If you're feeling a bit more adventurous you can try the mango prawns or the Sizzling "Wok Bar" and Iron Platter Combination.

Their lunch special is probably the best deal in town - Soup, Chinese Chicken Salad, Egg rolls, pot stickers, tea, soda and a choice of a dozen main courses - for $6.95. And it includes free refills on all dishes. Yup, all you can eat, cooked fresh and served at the table. I eat there a few times a week and really enjoy it.
