AARP Smart Driver 5-Hour Refresher Class

AARP
Driver Safety classes are designed for drivers age 50 or older. Refresh your
driving skills and earn a discount on your auto insurance for up to three
years, too. You must have completed an AARP Driver Safety course within the
past four years to qualify for this refresher class. The class runs from 9 a.m.
to 2 p.m. on Friday, April 4 at the
Benicia Community Center, 370 East L St. (Use East 4th Street
entrance). Sign up by contacting Benicia Parks and Community Services,
746-4285, or by visiting the Parks and Community Services office in the
Community Center. Enrollment
limited to 25 students per class. The registration fee is $15 for AARP members;
$20 for nonmembers. Pay at the class (cash
or checks payable to “AARP”).  Bring a pillow (hard plastic chairs), a
sweater or light coat (the classroom can get cold) and a snack – this is a
5-hour class. Beverages (coffee, tea, or hot chocolate) are available for
purchase onsite.
