lead, a missionary who's short on sinners at the mission she runs. Sky
Masterson, another gambler, accepts Nathan's $1000 bet that he can't get Sarah

Nathan to marry her and Police Lieutenant Brannigan, who always seems to appear
at the least appropriate time.

The
premiere on Broadway was in 1950. It
ran for 1200 performances and won the Tony
Award for Best Musical. The musical has had several Broadway and
London revivals, as well as a 1955
film adaptation starring Marlon Brando, Jean Simmons, Frank Sinatra and Vivian Blaine.

About 80
students including cast, orchestra and stage crew have work together under the
direction of three teachers to bring this frolicking crapshoot musical to the
stage. Christine Mani, director and drama teacher, said, “The students are
having a lot of fun with their characters and their related shenanigans.  They are enjoying music and lyrics by Frank
Loesser including Luck Be a Lady and Sit Down You’re Rocking the Boat.”
