BMS Viking Band Fundraiser - "The Wrecking Crew"

On November, 2nd, the Benicia Middle School Viking Band will be holding a
fundraiser open to the entire community.  They are selling tickets to the
showing of the acclaimed documentary, “The Wrecking Crew”, directed by Denny
Tedesco.  “The Wrecking Crew” shares the name of the studio musicians who played
back up for many musical greats of the 1960’s. Their music helped these
musicians win album and song of the year awards throughout that era.  The film
highlights the music of the time with interviews and clips from many of the
well-known musicians including Frank Sinatra, Nancy Sinatra, Cher, Glen
Campbell, to name just a few.
The film will be held at Benicia High School’s Hailey Horne Auditorium on

The BMS Viking Band is kicking off its marching for the school year by
participating in the Santa Cruz Band Review on Saturday, October 19th.  This
review includes competitions of the Marching, Drum Major, Color Guard and Drum
Line teams.
