AARP Driver Safety classes are open to anyone age 50 or older, and are now being offered in the Benicia area. It's a great way to refresh your driving skills, or learn some new skills, and it may earn you a discount on your auto insurance for up to three years, too. This class will be conducted over two consecutive Fridays, March 8, and again on March 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days. The class is taught at the Benicia Community Center, 370 East L St. (Use East 4th Street entrance). Sign up by contacting Benicia Parks and Community Services, 746-4285, or by visiting the Parks and Community Services office in the Community Center. The course fee is $12 for AARP members; $14 for non-members. Pay at the class (cash or checks payable to AARP Driver Safety).
