The Benicia Moms Group, in partnership with the Benicia Unified School District and participating Benicia preschools, is hosting a preschool fair. The event is free and open to the public.
This event is designed to be a one-stop shop for those looking for preschool options in Benicia. Attending provides parents and guardians the opportunity to ask preschool representatives questions, narrow down options and schedule tours of preschools they feel would be a good fit for their child.
Preschools and Co-Ops attending: BUSD Preschools (Robert Semple, Joe Henderson & Matthew Turner,) Calvary Church Kids Co-op, Garden of Children Preschool, Happy Hearts Preschool, KinderCare, Noah's Ark, Rainbow Connection, St. Dominics Preschool, Stepping Stones, Tender Hearts and Tiny Tots.
Also in attendance will be: A Perspective "Benicia Montessori School," Brickspace -A Lego Learning Center, and the Family Resource Center.
The event is from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at 11:00 AM a representative from the Benicia Unified School District will speak about what children are expected to know prior to entering kindergarten and how parents or guardians (in addition to preschool) can help prepare their child for this transition.
