Oktoberfest 2013 – Celebrates 3rd Year in Vallejo

Vallejo, CA - August 12, 2013.  On October 19, 2013 the Florence Douglas
Center Fund Development Committee will hold the 3rd Annual
Oktoberfest Gala & Auction.

The Center will be transformed into a Fabulous Bavarian
Hall. Festivities include: music, catered cuisine and cocktails, a premium
raffle, and a grand silent & live auction featuring items exclusively don
donated by local supporters for Oktoberfest 2013.

The goal of Oktoberfest is to raise much-needed
operational funds to allow our community to enjoy a place to Recharge, Relax
and Reconnect for those 50 & Better. The Florence Douglas Senior Center has
been serving 2,220 members of our community monthly for over 35 years.

General Public $45 Includes Catered Cuisine, Cocktails, Auciton & Raffle,

The Florence Douglas Senior Center; the operating
entity of the Vallejo Senior Citizens' Council, Inc. a 501c3 California
non-profit exempt tax id 23-7367329, public charity. We strive to be the
community's focal point for senior services and programs since 1977. We provide
recreational, educational and social activities, volunteer opportunities,
information and referral service, a nutrition program, and coordination of
services with other agencies serving Solano, Napa and Contra Costa counties place to Recharge, Relax and
Reconnect for those 50 & Better persons 50 years of age or better.      

The mission of the
Florence Douglas Senior Center (a California non-profit) to foster and promote
the charitable, educational, social and recreational programs for Seniors.
