Congratulations to local players who struck GOLD at the ACBL Western Regional Tournament in Santa Clara last week. Wayne Miller and Gretchen Filer of Benicia, with teammates Joyce and Ted Mirwald of Concord, won the Tumbleweed Compact Knockout Event on Sunday. Lynn Dahm and Dave Cappucini scored in two events, placing 2nd and 3rd in Sunday's Senior Pairs games.
Following a good finish in an area STAC game two weeks ago, Rosemary Boss of Benicia has earned her ACBL Life Master designation.
