After a short 3 mos. battle with cancer, Lois passed to Glory while sleeping. She was 81 years old and was surrounded by loved ones (her brother, three sons, two daughters, and 7 grandchildren). A longtime resident of San Bernardino, CA, She lived in Benicia from 1998-2005 with her youngest son Bill, daughter-in-law Laura, and grandchildren Marilyn & Anthony Cech and the family pets Miss Merry (dog), Jasmine, Color-crayons & Rascal (cats).
She enjoyed reading, gardening, and was a member of various community groups including: AAUW Benicia-Vallejo Chapter, Habitat for Humanity Solano County, St. Catherine of Siena Parish - Vallejo, Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum, & the Genealogy Society Vallejo-Benicia Chapter.
