Margaret Davidson Milne Murdoch Bross, 86, died after a struggle with pancreatic cancer on Thursday, October 17, 2013 in Benicia, California. She was born on November 16, 1926 in Aberdeen, Scotland to Charles and Margaret Murdoch. Margaret was an avid gardener and delighted in the achievements of her grandchildren, Aimee Bross Price of Delaware, Ohio, Andrew Bross of Warminster, Pennsylvania, and Duncan Hammitt of Benicia.. She is survived by them, her son and daughter-in-law Richard and Beth Anne Bross of Warminster, Pa, and her daughter, Janice Bross of Benicia. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred F. Bross.
Friends are invited to a celebration of Margaret’s life and reception at the Benicia Yacht Club, 400 E 2nd Street, Sunday, October 27 at 2PM. While Margaret supported many charities, she was especially proud of the Benicia High School Music program. Margaret requested music for her service, and her family suggests, in lieu of flowers, that memorial donations be made to the Benicia High School Panther Band, via the Panther Band Boosters, P.O. Box 1812, Benicia, CA 94510.
