Community Update

Water? Let us address some of this water talk,shall we? We have this governor who wants to install twin tunnels[for the southern part baby] so we can really have a drought up north. Now we have state officials that want to build a reservoir? Are they privy to some new info about us getting a monsoon that will fill it up?
How about some simple little steps we can take now that we have waited 4 years to acknowledge the drought.
First, forget lake Herman water to help us out. this water is so contaminated the fish can't even be eaten. We are going to use this as a back up for what besides the oil refinery? Maybe our water company can start a tier usage like PGE does. N
ot only charge more for high usage but charge it at a higher rate. Use the money to buy this more expensive water or god forbid find a way to use all the ground water that flows into the straight/bay. We can stop spending 20,000 here and there and use it on ways to get more water. Hey, i have an idea. Lets dump Kilger and hire someone at the correct salary level without the constant relocation fund of 2000 a month. I don't recall so many people wanting to get away from ole Brad. We waste so much money here on stupid pet projects that i can't help wonder what we could really do if we tried.
