Letter to the Editor: Republican Victory is coming in November

The writer is predicting republican control of the U.S. House, U.S. Senate and the White House. He's betting his hair on it.

We are quickly getting closer and closer to "R" Day. For those not familiar with that day it is the Republican massive victory on Nov. 6, 2012. We the people elect a Republican President, take control of the Senate and retain the House.

I, Bob Livesay have vowed to not cut my beautiful hair (Look at that beautiful full head of hair) until President Obama is defeated. I only have to wait till Nov. 6, 2012.

Now, the non-believers in Benicia are about to see the light. That light is going to shine brightly on my beautiful hair. It will be the sign of victory for the new Republican President.

Now I will say this-The Democrats will win in California. Not a big deal. No pull at all. Your savior Gov. Brown will be singing songs to rally his troops for the tax they’re trying to put on the wonderful California tax payers. No need to worry you will pay it gladly as your fellow Liberals go even deeper under water on their homes and at the same time put every person on food stamps and medicaid.

But remember we in Benicia are only interested in quality of life. Who's life? Yeah, our own life and the heck with the rest of the neighboring folks. They can fend for themselves. Sounds to me to be very selfish.

The single most important thing is a Republican President, Senate and the House. That is going to happen. So where does that leave Benicia? Out in the cold. No person in the House of Representatives to help you out.

But you did luck out.  You have tax and spend Democrats in this state to make your quality of life much better. Please explain to me quality of life without money? You will be up all night and day for the next ten years trying to figure that one out.

Be very careful what you say. Me and my beautiful hair will win this one by a great margin.

You local Liberals must remember the state, county and the city are broke-beyond repair in some cases.

Benicia might get lucky.  Maybe the Governor will rent the Commandant’s Palace (Commanding Officer’s Quarters) for plenty of tax payer dollars. I am very sorry to inform you dreamers that hope and change never happened and will not happen until November 6, 2012 when the Republicans take control and reduce your taxes and do a quick make over of goofy regulations.

Then, the big problem for California is that the state will be on the outside looking in. The citizens will say, “What happened to us?”

The answer will be you brought it on yourself. Now either get on board or it is all over for this great state. Please join in and be part of a new America. God Bless America.

The Hair Man has spoken.

-Bob Livesay-

"The Black Panther of Poetry" May 31, 2012 at 03:39 AM
Right on with that picture T.Gunter. It's demonstrative of an extinct race of Fighter/Warrior American Indians and of Robert Livesay and the soon to be extinct political party of the Republicans!!
Robert Livesay May 31, 2012 at 04:01 AM

T. Gunter May 31, 2012 at 04:12 AM
Good Grief Livesay! Is it really to much to ask that you can break out of the smart-ass comments and act serious for just a moment. I have a feeling you might be hearing some news on this from someone other than me shortly. "T It is my terms ." - You don't have any terms.
John Headley May 31, 2012 at 04:32 AM
I think you guys are being mean and confusing bald with thinning and lifeless. Please give Mr. Livesay the respect she deserves.
T. Gunter May 31, 2012 at 04:42 AM
Seems that you are wasting way to much energy talking goofy nonsense Robert. Even I think it is below you to act like some clown school graduate. If you really are going to NY (which I doubt), I am perfectly willing to wait until you get back to set this thing up. You really should take this seriously. I'm finding it hard to comprehend as to what it is that you are so afraid. Talk soon.
T. Gunter May 31, 2012 at 04:49 AM
BTW - I'll give JB the full credit for planting this seed. It will happen, just you wait and see.
Rich Vaughn May 31, 2012 at 04:58 AM
Depending on which way you guys are leaning, Livey's guarantees can be something to look forward to. Don't forget his one last Benicial mayorall race.
Robert Livesay May 31, 2012 at 02:16 PM
"ModelT' I am sorry to inform you that it is my hair, my party and I will do the planning. Now I know all you folks want to get in on the act. But just remember one thing I am calling the shots. Headley I guess all that dust clogged your mind. You never even said thanks or maybe it did not work. Remember Rich I never said the mayor would lose. I was just against her and never supported any candidate. Remeber :Model T" it is my show and it has generated a lot of comments. Mission accomplished. Now lets see what you folks can do other than make silly comments. My plan is moving forward very fast and I do know you folks want in. I make all the decisions. So be nice.
John Headley May 31, 2012 at 04:02 PM
Wouldn't be the same without you Bob. BTW thank you.
T. Gunter May 31, 2012 at 04:15 PM
Robertolini, The offer is still on the table. I fear that perhaps you don't have as much faith in the tagline "Republican Victory is coming in November" as you implied in your LTTE above. And, it appears you are also no fan of potentially getting $200 for nothing. It is burning a hole in my pocket. Perhaps you will still come around. I have the mayor on speed dial.
Laura Livesay Schlue May 31, 2012 at 05:06 PM
At least my dad stands fir what he believes in, and is willing to bet his hair on it. Quit name calling and say something of substace if you don't agree with him. He's the one who took the time to write his opinion down and submit it to the paper. And for his age, that is a hell of a head of hair!
Robert Livesay May 31, 2012 at 05:17 PM
"Model T" you just do not get it. The mayor is not invited. She will be mourning with all the other Liberals. At least you know that President Obama is going to lose along with some others on this comment section. Please get it this time your $200.00 is for entree to the event. Now I do hope you understand. My show not yours. So make up your mind either you are in or out. Bring the money to my favorite lecture hall. Cash only. I will guarantee you a front row seat. Got it.
T. Gunter May 31, 2012 at 06:37 PM
There is nothing to get, until you say "yes". Either that, or admit the lack of faith in your grand proclamation. Simple as that. Anything else will just prove to be a disappointment. Understand?
Robert Livesay May 31, 2012 at 07:06 PM
T I have already made my commitment and my plans are in the works. I never invited you in as a part of the planning. You want a seat pony up the money. If not stop trying to run my show. It is well on its way. T I am not interested in your offer. If you want to be a spectator pay up.
JB Davis (Editor) May 31, 2012 at 07:13 PM
Bob, Inquiries have been made. We'll have to get together soon to figure out how this will work and which community group will get the money raised. I have my favorites but in the best tradition of Patch I'm planning on leaving it up to the readers to decide. First round is on me at your office hours. See you soon.
T. Gunter May 31, 2012 at 07:38 PM
"I never invited you in as a part of the planning." I'm talking about a "real" event here. And, I'm inviting you to take part. I am not going to beg you. If you are truly not interested, a simple and direct "no" will suffice. Anything else, and I'll still consider the door to be open a crack.
Bruce Rockwell June 02, 2012 at 12:39 AM
Republican President, Senate, and House? I remember the last time that happened. For six years, government spending exploded at an average of 8% annually. If we hold Obama totally responsible for the billions of spending for FY 2009 that happened before he was even elected, surely we can all agree that would be neither fair nor accurate. But even if we blamed him completely for the 2009 fiasco, his spending growth averages to 5.2% annually. Nobody who pays attention to history and cares about fiscal restraint would ever want to go back to the years of a Republican lockdown on the purse strings of America!
Robert Livesay June 02, 2012 at 03:11 AM
Bruce i would assume you are die hard Liberal.. It does not matter what facts are presented, you will not go along with them.. Bruce the election is over. President Obama gets hammered big time. Benicia, Solano county and the state of California wlll vote for the President. Then as the new President Romney puts his plans to work California will cry wonder what happend. Very simple George Miller, Gov. Brown and the over whelming majority in both houses in this state will wonder what happened... Your group is about to get the biggest surprise of their life Hang on man you will need plenty of support. It will not be coming from Romney. Now it could change if you folks get your act together. Elect some Conservatives. Till then we will all have to forward to tax and spend Liberals in the wonderful Town of Benicia and this Golden State. Lets get to work and make this state Golden again not run by a bunch of Enviro Greenies. Bruce it is over. Get on the bandwagon.
"The Black Panther of Poetry" June 02, 2012 at 05:49 AM
Robert Livesay, I am not agreeing with you. So I am not on your bandwagon; as a matter of fact I am sure the Dems will take it again and out first Black President will get four more years. By the way Robert, I met you the other day. I was within 2feet to you. I just didn't bothe to introduce myself. I bet you didn't notice me!!!
Robert Livesay June 03, 2012 at 02:52 PM
As I said before I did know who you where. You are a gentleman. There was an interesting comment in the other on-line comment paper. Mike {With no last name} said he would contribute $1,000 and pay for everything. Now Mike when saying you will pay for everything I understand that to mean everything. Venue rental, security, catering both food and beverage and cleanup. I want to publicly thank you for your generous support of my victory hair cut. It also means you have conceded the election to Romney and now kinow that President Obama is a one term President. Fell free to send your cash of $11,000 to JB Davis at the Patch. Mike cash only. That should cover it all. Again thank you for your support. I do and also the readers take you at your word. Now is the time to show your honor. Again thank you.
Robert Livesay June 03, 2012 at 02:55 PM
Sorry for the above mispelling
Riley Willerson November 07, 2012 at 10:23 PM
Hey Robert, any comments on what happened to your prediction of the Republicans winning in November? I for one really thought that it would of been a tighter race, I wanted Obama to win, but Romney ran a good campaign , He just was not able to convince the average working Joe, that he was the right choice. The face of the Republican of the 1950' thru the 80's has changed. For the Republicans to win they have to get on board with the New face of America, a sea of all shapes and colors, not just elderly conservative males trying to live like Ozzy and Harriet.
Virginia Fontaine November 07, 2012 at 10:37 PM
So where is Robert Livesay today? No doubt crying into his pillow mourning the loss of his "beautiful hair." I like the suggestion that Mayor Patterson herself give him the haircut. Unfortunately, he probably won't bear up under the public humiliation. He is part of the Republican demographic that thinks going back to the 50's is what America should be all about. Wake up and smell the new demographics Bobby! Old, white men no longer rule America.
T. Gunter November 07, 2012 at 11:01 PM
"I like the suggestion that Mayor Patterson herself give him the haircut." Thanks Virginia!
Robert Livesay November 08, 2012 at 12:15 AM
Virginia I am here and will not go away. I will still comment and hammer the folks that make personal attacks on me and not factual statements. . I had the courage to make a prediction. I see none of you did. Virginia are you calling me an old white man? Remember this the conservatives still hold the House of Rep., Govs, and the state upper and lower houses. Yes my prediction was wrong on the President and Senate. By doing that I did leave myself open for negative comments. Three out of five is not what I wanted. I do give the winning campaign a lot of credit. It was all about the fear that the democrats had of a lingering President Bush and the Romney image was not a good fit. Really nothing has changed. Same President, same senate and same house. The one exception will be Nancy will no longer retain her position. The Republican Party in the future will be conservative. Tea Party will have only isolated rersults and Rhinos will no longer even be a part of the party. Convervatives did not lose a seat only Rhinos and Tea Party folks. That is something to think about. The Republican party of the future is young and energized. Very diverse which is very important. Did not win this one but there will be a next time. I do believe Predident Obama will be in a legacy building four years. He will give the Republican controlled house a lot of attention and move their way rather than more his way. He must get things done and that is his only option.

Time to pay the PIPER!! Robert Livesay 7:30 pm on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 Send your money to JB and then I will discuse this. It is still my show not yours. The mayor would not be part of a victory event for our new President Romney. I would not allow her to be even in the audience to see my very up to date styled hair cut. Now if she is willing to send in the $200.00 and concede defeat I might give her a second chance. Do not hold your breath T. Please send your donation to JB at once. You allo talk and no action. Man-up Dude.

Bobby Richardson, A.K.A., "The Black Panther of Poetry" 10:49 pm on Friday, June 1, 2012 Robert Livesay, I am not agreeing with you. So I am not on your bandwagon; as a matter of fact I am sure the Dems will take it again and out first Black President will get four more years. By the way Robert, I met you the other day. I was within 2feet to you. I just didn't bothe to introduce myself. I bet you didn't notice me!!! Robert, If you read my comment you will see that I predicted all of this. Robert, I am now three for three(Mayor Patterson, Supervisor Linda Seifert, President Obama) "' I'M A BAD MAN"
