Photo Gallery: Benicia Celebrates National Night Out
City officials visit National Night Out Celebrations across the city.
Mayor Elizabeth Patterson and Vice-Mayor Alan Schwartzman accompanied police and firemen on a tour of celebrations for National Night Out. At each stop as neighbors came together over cupcakes and guacamole, volunteers handed out Frisbees and pamphlets about the volunteer opportunities in Benicia in cluding the .
Kids also got a chance to inspect, what to them was, a larger than life fire truck and the inside of patrol cars, as the Police Chief Andrew Bidou and Fire Chief Steve Vucurevich thanked neighborhood volunteers who participate in Neighborhood Watch and other civic programs.
