Benicia Economic Development Official Wanted on Charges of Embezzling From Theatre Group

Kimble Goodman is suspected of taking "between $12,000 and $15,000" from the Benicia Old Town Theatre Group.

An official with Benicia's Economic Development Board and the former treasurer of the Benicia Old Town Theatre Group is wanted by police.

Kimble Goodman, who is charged with embezzling from the theatre group, was supposed to surrender himself to authorities Wednesday but never showed up, police say.

Benicia Police Department spokesman Lt. Frank Hartig said Goodman is suspected of "taking between $12,000 and $15,000 from the Old Town Theatre Group's financial accounts they have and using it for personal gain."
