Benicia Police Log: Chanting on Warwick and Car Occupant Taking a Nap on Southampton

12:48 a.m.: Police received a report of a heated argument between a man and woman on Shirley Drive.  The issues may have been resolved because the couple were gone when officers arrived.

3:42 p.m.: There was a dispute about some property being removed from a Lindo Street home.

3:54 p.m.: A 29-year-old Sacramento man was arrested on Cooper.  He had outstanding warrants issued in Sacramento.

4:00 p.m.: Police received a report of two men soliciting in the area of Barton Way.

4:26 p.m.: That minor spotted driving a car on East L Street had a valid drivers license.

5:53 p.m.: There was a residential burglary reported on Warwick.

10:39 p.m.: That suspicious vehicle parked on Southampton Road had a sleeping occupant.

11:18 p.m.: There was another complaint about chanting on Warwick.  Police once again failed to find any chanters.

Editor’s Note:  Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
