This is the crime bulletin for Monday, August 26, 2013 from the Benicia Police Department.
12:06 a.m.: Police received a report of someone passed out in a car parked on First Street. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived on the scene.
9:04 a.m.: Officers spoke to the person who was making harassing phone calls to a resident on Larkin.
10:13 a.m.: Police arrested a 32-year-old Vallejo woman for drunk driving.
12:28 p.m.: An investigation was opened into the theft of items from a home on McCall.
1:57 p.m.: Officers responded to Cambridge where there was a report of a disturbance between neighbors.
2:11 p.m.: Officers were asked to document a series of harassing phone calls made to a resident on El Bonito.
2:44 p.m.: Police opened an investigation into threats made against a citizen on Egret.
3:28 p.m.: A citizen called police to report a possible drug deal going down on Military West.
4:25 p.m.: A citizen reported their car window was shot out by someone using a pellet gun.
6:38 p.m.: That loud music reported on East I Street had been turned down before officers arrived on the scene.
9:36 p.m.: A resident on Larkin reported a barking dog. Responding officers left a note for the dog’s person.
Editor’s Note: Sometimes you might find items in the police log that seem humorous but please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
