12:44 a.m.: Officers spoke to the people involved in a fight on First Street.

1:21 a.m.: Officers were unable to determine what activated an alarm at a Military West business.
1:48 a.m.: Officers were unable to determine what activated an alarm at an Ardmore residence.

3:02 a.m.: Officers were unable to determine what activated an alarm at a Military West business.
3:53 a.m.: Officers were unable to determine what activated an alarm at an East Industrial Way business.
4:03 a.m.: Officers were unable to determine what activated an alarm at a Military West business.
5:44 a.m.: Officers were unable to determine what activated an alarm at a Military West business.
7:34 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to a Rose Drive home where a family altercation was under way. There was only yelling.
8:45 a.m.: Police received a report of a kid under the influence of drugs on East J Street. Responding officers determined the kid was clean.
8:52 a.m.: A 26-year-old San Francisco woman was arrested for assault and battery.
11:42 a.m.: Police received a report of a person missing from the vicinity of East Third Street. Officers quickly found the person.
11:51 a.m.: Officers documented vandalism to a car on Morning Glory.
1:04 p.m.: Officers gave advice to a resident on Hastings who has been having on-going issues with another person.
2:56 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to Chadwick where a dog was barking a lot. The dog had quieted by the time officers arrived but they were able to talk to the dog’s person.
5:46 p.m.: Officers spoke to a solicitor who was working on Regis but had no soliciting permit.
5:55 p.m.: A 28-year-old man was arrested for drunk driving on Columbus.
6:28 p.m.: The suspicious car parked in a driveway on Mills belonged to the homeowner.
6:35 p.m.: Officers were unable to locate a man soliciting without a permit on Capitol.
6:48 p.m.: A pair of neighbors on Wisteria got into an argument.
7:08 p.m.: A man in Solano Square reported being threatened by three kids. Officers spoke to the kids who denied making any threats.
7:22 p.m.: Officers were asked to document an alleged violation of a court order regarding child custody.
7:24 p.m.: Police were asked to talk to an East J Street resident who was playing his TV too loud. He agreed to turn down the volume.
7:27 p.m.: A 35-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in Solano County.
9:01 p.m.: Police received a report of a vehicle parked in the parking lot of a Rose Drive park after closing time. Officers determined the car was parked legally and was secure.
9:24 p.m.: A car parked on First Street was blocking a driveway. The owner was contacted and agreed to move the vehicle.
10:14 p.m.: A barking dog on Belvedere was annoying nearby neighbors. The dog’s people were warned of the complaint.
10:38 p.m.: A woman was heard screaming on West H Street at about the time a man was seen running from the residence. Officers discovered the couple was having a fight and it was verbal only.

8:29 a.m.: Officers began an investigation into vandalism to a car parked on West Fifth Street
11:09 a.m.: Officers were unable to determine what activated an alarm at a Stone Road business.
12:02 p.m.: Police were notified of a case of credit card fraud. The notification came from a Rose Drive resident
4:06 p.m.: A First Street merchant reported an upset woman asking for directions. Officers were unable to find the woman.
4:55 p.m.: Police received a complaint of a car parked illegally on Corte Del Sol. The owners were contacted and agreed to move the vehicle.
7:34 p.m.: Police were unable to find the person riding a dirt bike on East Third Street.
9:23 p.m.: Officers spoke to the host of a loud party on McAllister.
9:28 p.m.: Police spoke to the occupants of a car in the parking lot of a Rose Drive area park. The occupants drove away after speaking to officers.
9:44 p.m.: Officers were unable to locate the kids who were throwing eggs from a car driving on First Street.
10:58 p.m.: There was a verbal altercation on Wainwright. Officers were able to intercede.
11:53 p.m.: Police received a report of an open garage door on East Fourth Street. They contacted the owner who closed and secured the door.

1:18 p.m.: A 19-year-old Vallejo woman was arrested for driving on a suspended license and for possession of a controlled substance.
2:22 p.m.: Police received a report of a vehicle idling for 15 minutes at an East Second Street location. The car was gone when officers arrived.
3:05 p.m.: A 22-year-old Benicia man was arrested on Southampton Road. He had two outstanding warrants issued in Solano County.
8:17 p.m.: Officers received a report of an alleged court order violation.
9:03 p.m.: There was a barking dog on Clos Duvall. The dog’s people were warned that the barking was bugging the neighbors.
10:40 p.m.: A 33-year-old Benicia woman was arrested for domestic violence.
11:17 p.m.: A 20-year-old San Francisco man was arrested for corporal punishment of a spouse.
Editor’s Note: Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
