6:05 p.m.: Officers arrested a 49-year-old Benicia woman on a no bail warrant issued by Solano County.  The arrest took place on Sunset.

6:28 p.m.: Officers responded to a burglar alarm at a residence on Military East.  No burglars were found.

6:29 p.m.: Officers removed a tree branch that was blocking Primrose.

7:33 p.m.: A dog that was found earlier in the day was returned to its person.

8:08 p.m.: A citation was issued and a car towed from Military East.

9:09 p.m.: A resident on Buchanan asked for advice from an officer regarding an ongoing neighbor dispute.

10:50 p.m.: The hosts of a loud party on East Seventh Street agreed to turn down the volume after talking to officers.

Editor’s Note:  Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
