12:14 a.m.: Officers couldn’t locate the source of the loud banging on Military West.

7:41 a.m.: Police were asked to investigate an ongoing noise problem on Cambridge.

8:31 a.m.: Those two kids on Toyon who were refusing to go to school, changed their tune when the School Resource Officer arrived on the scene.

10:53 a.m.: A backpack was found on East L Street.

11:33 a.m.: The Animal Control Officer responded to a complaint of a barking dog on London.  The dog was located but the dog’s people were not at home.

12:24 p.m.: Officers opened an investigation into a possible hit and run on East L Street.  A car sustained some damage.

12:42 p.m.: There was a non-injury traffic collision on East Second Street.

1:55 p.m.: Officers took a report regarding some scrap metal stolen from a business on Polk.

4:32 p.m.: Officers issued a citation for a parking violation on Lindo Street.

5:18 p.m.: A citizen on East T Street received advice regarding an ongoing problem with a neighbor’s dog.

5:27 p.m.: There was a report of a young woman with a suitcase sitting on the side of I-780 crying.  Officers checked, but were unable to locate the young lady.

7:14 p.m.: The rowdy kids who were hanging out in front of a business on Military East were gone when officers arrived to talk to them.

7:47 p.m.: Officers came to Lindo Street where they spoke to the owner of the car that was parked on the sidewalk.  They explained that it isn’t really appropriate to park a car on the sidewalk.

8:03 p.m.: A citation was issued for an illegally parked car.  The car was on First Street.

8:26 p.m.: A 43-year-old Benicia woman was arrested for disorderly conduct/being drunk in public.  She got to sleep it off in the county jail.

9:48 p.m.: Officers gave assistance to a citizen on Sandy who requested it.

9:57 p.m.: The barking dog on Rose was noisy enough that officers spoke to its people.

10:40 p.m.: Police searched West Second Street for person or persons who were throwing eggs at cars.  They didn’t find the egg throwers.

10:45 p.m.: A business alarm activation on Bayshore was determined to be a malfunction.

11:12 p.m.: There was an alarm activation on Park Road.  It too was deemed a malfunction.

12:25 a.m.: A 48-year-old Vallejo man was arrested for carrying a switchblade.

1:10 a.m.: Officers made a visit to a home on Warwick where the TV was blaring.

1:37 a.m.: A citizen on Wainwright reported hearing something like pebbles hitting her front window.  Officers investigated and couldn’t find anything suspicious.

7:03 a.m.: An employee at a business on Noyes accidentally set off the alarm.

9:28 a.m.: A resident on Kearney goofed when trying to set the house alarm.

10:45 a.m.: Somebody vandalized some potted plants on First Street.

11:09 a.m.: There was an accident on Interstate 780.

11:54 a.m.: Officers took a report on a traffic collision that was so minor there was no damage to either vehicle.

12:30 p.m.: There was an alarm activation on East Second Street.  It turned out to be a malfunction.

12:52 p.m.: The alarm at a business on West Channel turned out to be a malfunction.

5:50 p.m.: Officers took a report on some kids causing some trouble on East Fifth Street.

5:57 p.m.: Officers arrested a 53-year-old Benicia man for misdemeanor domestic battery.

6:51 p.m.: Officers provided assistance to a citizen on East L Street.

8:07 p.m.: Officers responded to a call about an illegally parked car and issued a parking ticket on East H Street.

9:20 p.m.: There was a report of a traffic hazard on Hastings.  Officers were unable to find it.

9:38 p.m.: Officers issued yet another citation for an illegally parked vehicle, this time on Solano.

10:00 p.m.: Those kids who were thought to be fighting on East Fifth Street were playing.

12:24 a.m.: A 20-year-old Benicia man was arrested for theft.

11:02 a.m.: An alarm at a business on Park Road malfunctioned.

1:26 p.m.: A crossed line led to an accidental 911 call from a residence on La Cruz.

4:11 p.m.: Officers talked to the person who was making a resident on St. Francis nervous.

4:40 p.m.: Officers began an investigation into a possible case of vandalism on West I Street.

5:28 p.m.: Officers had a talk with the kids who jumping off dumpsters on East L Street.

6:13 p.m.: Officers recovered a stolen vehicle on Bayshore and arrested a 61-year-old Benicia man.  The man had outstanding warrants in Shasta County.

6:34 p.m.: Officers gave some advice to a citizen on East L Street regarding restraining orders.

7:10 p.m.: An employee at a business on West Channel accidentally set off the alarm.

10:51 p.m.: A 56-year-old Benicia man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.  The arrest took place on West Third Street.

11:42 p.m.: A 54-year-old Benicia woman was arrested on First Street for possession of drug paraphernalia.
