12:16 a.m.: A burglar alarm at a business on Southampton Road malfunctioned.

12:56 a.m.: An employee at a business on East Industrial set off the burglar alarm.
1:30 a.m.: A resident on Ardmore thought she heard people on her property. Responding officers didn’t find anyone.

7:54 a.m.: Officers investigating a family disturbance at a home on Rose Drive found no one home.
9:20 a.m.: Officers got between two people on East Second who were having an argument then stuck around while the parties tried to resolve things.
9:41 a.m.: There was a non-injury traffic collision on East L Street.
12:05 p.m.: There were reports of a deer running around on Rose Drive. The deer was gone before officers arrived.
1:36 p.m.: Officers opened an investigation into the theft of a wallet from a school on Rose Drive.
1:57 p.m.: Officers opened an investigation into a case of identity fraud against someone on Plymouth.
2:41 p.m.: Officers had a discussion with the drivers of two cars who were reportedly driving recklessly. The cars were parked on the First Street spit when officers arrived.
3:14 p.m.: Police were unable to locate a man selling home theatre equipment out of the back of his car on Columbus.
4:05 p.m.: Officers responded to a residence on West Seventh Street where a mother and daughter needed help resolving some issues.
4:54 p.m.: Officers came to a residence on Rose Drive where they opened a missing person report. Shortly after the report was opened the person was located.
7:26 p.m.: Officers were unable to locate the source of the loud music reported on Cambridge.
7:55 pm.: Officers found that a burglar alarm activation on Elaine Way was a malfunction.
8:12 p.m.: Officers helped quiet an argument between two sisters at an East O Street residence.
9:41 p.m.: Officers opened an investigation into the theft of a vehicle on First Street.
10:42 p.m.: There was a physical altercation on Southampton Road.
11:30 p.m.: Officers asked the hosts of a loud party on Military East to turn down the volume.
11:45 p.m.: A woman on Rose Drive complained about text and voicemail messages she was receiving.

12:25 a.m.: Officers received a report of fireworks being set off on East Second Street. They were unable to locate any celebrations.
12:37 a.m.: Police received a report of a verbal altercation between a man and a woman on First Street.
11:09 a.m.: Police were called to a Rose Drive home where a mother and her adult daughter were having an argument.
11:29 a.m.: A vehicle was towed from Church because it was illegally parked.
12:03 p.m.: There was a domestic disturbance on Vista Grande.
2:47 p.m.: There was an alarm malfunction at a residence on Watson.
4:21 p.m.: A dog found on Rose Drive was returned to its person.
6:39 p.m.: Officers were unable to locate the vehicle that was driving erratically on Rose Drive.
6:56 p.m.: Some personal electronics were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on Jasper.
8:04 p.m.: A 43-year-old Benicia man was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
8:36 p.m.: Someone had removed a cap from a fire hydrant on West K Street.
9:02 p.m.: A vehicle was cited for double-parking on Bayview.
11:28 p.m.: All the noise on East Fifth Street was coming from people leaving an event.
11:39 p.m.: Officers arrested a 34-year-old Vallejo man for driving under the influence on Interstate 780.

12:23 a.m.: Officers asked the hosts of a loud party on East Fifth Street to turn down the volume.
2:05 a.m.: The loud voices heard on First Street belonged to the boisterous but not arguing patrons leaving a First Street establishment.
2:18 p.m.: Officers talked to the kids who were trying to get into the pool area of a complex on Warwick.
2:26 a.m.: The kids who were placing food items on cars on Military West got to wash the cars.
2:29 a.m.: There was a fight at an event on Military West.
4:03 a.m.: A burglar alarm at a residence on West Seaview malfunctioned.
4:49 a.m.: A burglar alarm at a business on East industrial malfunctioned.
6:59 a.m.: A citation was issued for an illegally parked vehicle on Linda Vista.
1:55 p.m.: Officers stood by while property was exchanged on Riverview.
3:54 p.m.: Officers searched First Street for after receiving a report of a possible drunk driver, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
5:01 p.m.: A 20-year-old San Francisco woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in Solano County. The arrest took place on East L Street.
5:22 p.m.: Officers began an investigation into a possible violation of a court order that occurred on Buena Vista.
8:34 p.m.: Officers tried to help some neighbors on Buena Vista resolve their longstanding issues.
9:02 p.m.: The screaming heard by a resident on East L Street was really just a bunch of kids playing basketball.
9:05 p.m.: Officers talked to a drunk customer at a Southampton Road business.
9:59 p.m.: Officers talked to a group of people who were inside a First Street business and were using flashlights to see. The people had permission to be there.
10:17 p.m.: Officers received a report of someone setting off fireworks on West Ninth Street.
10:46 p.m.: Some personal items were stolen from a residence on Shirley.
11:00 p.m.: that scantily clad woman walking on Southampton Road was wearing a bathing suit under her sweatshirt.
11:12 p.m.: Officers cited the host of a party on Larkin for being too loud.
Editor’s Note: Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
