Benicia Police Log: Mother Daughter Drama on Anita, Missing Car Located on East L

1:24 a.m.: Police are investigating a fight that occurred on Military East.

1:55 p.m.: An officer warned the driver of a vehicle parked in a red zone on London Circle.

5:21 p.m.: Officers received a report of a loud argument on West K.

6:59 p.m.: Two juveniles were in a very loud argument on West K Street then ran away in different directions.

7:10 p.m.: A mother and her adult daughter became involved in an argument on East Seventh Street.  The two were able to work out their differences.

7:11 p.m.: Someone found some ammunition on First Street.  The finder turned it in to the police.

7:25 p.m.: A report came in from the vicinity of East Sixth Street where it was alleged fishermen were keeping more than the legal limit of fish.  The fishermen were gone when officers arrived.

7:26 p.m.: A police officer was requested at an East L Street address where a dispute between a landlord and a tenant was taking place.

8:53 p.m.: A mother on Anita slapped her adult daughter.  The daughter declined to prosecute the mom.

11:31 p.m.: A man parked his car on East L Street, went into a nearby business and when he emerged he couldn’t locate the vehicle.  The car was eventually found with officers providing assistance.  It is unclear if officers provided the man a ride home.

Editor’s Note:  Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
