5:21 p.m.: There was a case of shoplifting reported at a Military East business.

6:12 p.m.: An alarm was activated at an East Industrial business.

6:48 p.m.: An employee at a Bayshore Road business failed to turn off the burglar alarm in a timely fashion.

6:59 p.m.: The kid who was reported missing from a home on Riverview was quickly found by officers.

7:55 p.m.: The suspicious person sitting in a car parked near an ATM in Solano Square was filling out some paperwork.

8:03 p.m.: There was a non-injury traffic collision on Columbus Parkway.

9:15 p.m.: A 29-year-old Benicia man was arrested for some outstanding warrants issued in Solano County. 

Editor’s Note:  Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
