9:47 a.m.: There was a non-injury traffic collision on Sunset.
12:47 p.m.: A father and son were having a disagreement at a residence on West L Street.
1:31 p.m.: The suspicious person reported on Buchanan was gone when officers arrived in the area.
1:38 p.m.: Officers took a report on a suspected case of domestic violence.
2:22 p.m.: The car that was reported stolen on West K Street was actually repossessed.
2:39 p.m.: Police received a report of a suspicious person on East I Street possibly transporting weapons. Officers spoke to the person and determined there was nothing suspicious happening.
4:13 p.m.: A resident on Chelsea Hills was the victim of identity fraud.
4:32 p.m.: Police received a report of skateboarding in a parking lot on Southampton Road.
4:52 p.m.: Officers arrested a man who was driving a vehicle that was reported stolen.
6:59 p.m.: Officers spoke to the driver of a suspicious vehicle spotted on Rose Drive.
7:05 p.m.: The speeding vehicle reported on West K Street apparently sped away before officers arrived on the scene.
8:24 p.m.: Officers spoke to the family members who were involved in a family dispute on Rose Drive.
10:17 p.m.: Officers issued a case number for a repossession that took place on Rankin.
Editor’s Note: Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
