Benicia Police Log: Three Arrests but No Burglar Alarms

1:23 p.m.: A 52-year-old Benicia man was arrested for domestic violence.

2:56 p.m.: Officers found that a couch had been illegally dumped in East I Street.

4:37 p.m.: A man was drinking in public on Columbus Parkway.  He was apprehended by police.

5:09 p.m.: A 28-year-old Benicia woman was arrested on Military East for drunk driving and child endangerment.

7:59 p.m.: A 37-year-old resident of Plumas Lake was arrested for providing alcohol to a person under the age of 21.  The arrest took place in First Street.

8:48 p.m.: Two people were fighting on Wingfield.  Officers managed to separate the combatants.

10:51 p.m.: The occupants of a residence on Cambridge were being a bit loud for the neighbors.  The noisy people agreed to be quieter after speaking to police.

Editor’s Note:  Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
