BHS Student Suspected of Possessing Ecstasy for Sale

18-year-old Sean Beattie, according to police, was in possession of 15 ecstasy pills and admitted to selling them to other students.

Benicia Police arrested 18-year-old Sean Beattie, a senior at Benicia High School, on suspicion of possessing ecstasy and intending to sell it.

According to a press release from Benicia Police Public Information Officer Mike Daley, School Resource Officer Mike Greene recieved a tip on the morning of Dec. 20. Police then searched Beattie, who was found to have 15 ecstasy pills on him. Beattie also admitted to police that he sold ecstasy pills to students. 

"This case is a good example of Officer Patterson and school officials working together to quickly act upon information and intervene to stop a dangerous drug from being sold on the school campus," Greene said according to the police press release.
