The property owner advised dispatch he had arrived at the residence and found two subjects had broken into a large shop on the property. The property owner told dispatch he had detained one subject and the other had fled on foot.
Officers from the Dixon Police Department assisted the Sheriff’s Office responding to the area just outside of Dixon. Dixon officers detained the subject being detained by the property owner at the residence. They also located and detained the second subject approximately one-half mile away from the residence.
