Disa Pleads Not Guilty
Suspect in Katie Gillihan's death enters plea while both families look on.
Adam Wade Disa, the live-in boyfriend of Katie Gillihan, pleaded not guilty to murder Tuesday in a Fairfield courtroom while his brothers and sister looked on. Also attending the hearing were Gillihan's mother, Donna, accompanied by family and friends.
After the arraignment, Donna Gillihan spent about five minutes in the hallway outside Department 17 of the Solano County Criminal Courts building, discussing the case with Solano County Deputy District Attorney Dane Neilson, who will prosecute the case.
Disa, dressed in striped jail garb, sat erect and silent throughout the proceeding, speaking only when addressed by the judge.

His next scheduled appearances are a readiness conference March 21 and preliminary hearing April 18.
