Multiple Auto Collisions on Monday

Three accidents kept police and fire departments busy.

About 8 a.m. Monday, a van belonging to a vendor of the was involved in a single-vehicle collision at the Valero facility. Sue Fisher Jones of Valero confirmed that three of the four occupants of the van were sent to the hospital. All were treated and released.

About 1 p.m., two vehicles collided on the corner of West K and West 6th streets in front of . Benicia police arrived on the scene soon after. The accident seemed to be a non-injury incident but one of the drivers complained of pain. Benicia fire and ambulance services were dispatched. The man boarded the ambulance on his own and was taken to the hospital.

About the same time, a third accident occurred on Lake Herman Road. An individual was taken to John Muir Hospital in Concord.
