Police Log: 5 DUIs, a Vehicle Burglary & Juveniles Hitting Golf Balls at Passers-by

A digest of police calls from this past weekend in Benicia.

Friday, Feb. 8

1:06 p.m. – Phone threats were made during a transaction on eBay.

9:39 p.m. – A caller reported hearing three gunshots near La Prenda Avenue, but police were not able to locate the source of the sound.

11:46 p.m. – The caller reported a customer disturbance near 1st Street, reporting a “belligerent group of patrons.” Police issued a warning.

11:57 p.m. – Police cited Christian Wall, 24, of Grass Valley, for DWI near 1st Street. He was cited and released from the police department.

Saturday, Feb. 9

12:56 a.m. – Police cited Louis Torres of Benicia for DWI. He was cited and released. Torres turned 21 last month.

2:00 a.m. – Igors Vacko of Las Vegas was cited for DWI.

6:44 a.m. – Reports of a vehicle blocking a driveway near 1st Street. The car was gone before police arrived.

9:56 p.m. – Reports of a customer disturbance near 5th Street. The subjects were contacted by police and warned.

Sunday, Feb. 10

2:20 a.m. – Malaci McKain, 25, of Vallejo, was cited for DWI near Lori Drive.

2:34 a.m. – Dylan Hassard of Benicia was involved in a traffic accident. He was cited for DWI and booked by police. Hassard is approximately 20 years and 11 months old.

8:21 a.m. – A caller reported hearing a loud noise in the middle of the night. Police told the caller to report the incident while it’s taking place next time, rather than in the morning.

10:28 a.m. – Reports of a possible intoxicated subject. It was determined that the person had low blood sugar.

2:51 p.m. – David Stockton, 48, and Angelina Silveria, 30, both of Oakley, were arrested for vehicle burglary near Lake Herman Road.

3:58 p.m. – A caller reports juveniles hitting golf balls at passers-by near Bristol Court. Police were unable to locate.

7:57 p.m. – Reports of a physical altercation between a male and a female near Solano Square. The subjects were no longer at the scene when police arrived.

8:11 a.m. – Stephen L. Santos of Benicia was arrested and booked during a domestic disturbance call.

8:48 a.m. – The reporting party called about an unwanted guest: Argument between a husband and wife who were separated for the night.

9:56 a.m. – Daniel J. Humphreys of Benicia was arrested and booked during a domestic disturbance call.
