Police Log: A Bike was Stolen and Some Drug Arrests Were Made

Police arrested two men for possession of drugs for sale.

Police arrested two men on Monday for possession of marijuana and methamphetamine for sale.  Late in the day a pair of minors were arrested for possession of tobacco products.  And the person who lost the keys to the Beemer can pick them up at the police station.

9:44 a.m.: A construction project on Adams Street was blocking views and making driving unsafe.  The construction crew agreed to put up signs to help direct traffic.

10:02 a.m.: A citizen on East Second Street reported getting annoying text messages.

10:49 a.m.: Police began an investigation into a possible case of credit card fraud perpetrated against a citizen on Clifton Court.

11:53 a.m.: Two men, a 33-year-old and a 23-year-old were arrested for possession of marijuana for sale and for possession of methamphetamine.

12:47 p.m.: A residential alarm went off on Clos Duvall.  Officers believe it was a malfunction.

1:08 p.m.: A resident on Kearney asked police to document some harassing phone calls.

3:27 p.m.: A bicycle was stolen on East J Street.

3:29 p.m.: A citizen asked police to standby as the locks were changed on a residence on East J Street.

4:25 p.m.: A set of keys for a BMW was found on Rose Drive.

4:45 p.m.: Police helped resolve a civil dispute on Brentwood.

5:23 p.m.: A business owner in Southampton Center reported hearing footsteps on the roof of the building.  Officers were unable to find  anyone running around on the roof.

6:19 p.m.: There was an injury traffic accident on Military East.  A pedestrian and a car were involved in the accident.

9:10 p.m.: An X-Box and some cash were reported stolen from a home on O’Farrell.

9:52 p.m.: A resident on East J  Street reported alleged harassment via the internet and text messages.

10:47 p.m.: Two juveniles were cited for possession of tobacco products.  They were released to the custody of their parents.

Editor’s Note:  Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
