Police Log: A lot of Suspicious Men

7:56 a.m.: There was a residential alarm activation on West Fifth Street.  It turned out to be a false alarm.

9:20 a.m.: Those suspicious guys on West K Street turned out to be roofers.

2:25 p.m.: A residential alarm on Dover malfunctioned.

4:09 p.m.: Officers received a report of a man knocking on people’s doors on Cambridge.  They looked but were unable to find him.

4:38 p.m.: Officers opened an investigation into a non-injury hit and run on Elaine Way.

4;45 p.m.: Residents on Gallagher may have been visited by a door-to-door solicitor.  Officers looked for the man but he had exited the area.

5:22 p.m.: Police began an investigation into the alleged theft of a credit card on Riverhill.

5:52 p.m.: A resident on Dover reported a suspicious person around the neighborhood.  He had left before officers arrived.

7:20 p.m.: Officers determined that an alarm activated at a business on Goodyear Road was the result of a malfunction.

Editor’s Note:  Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
