Police Log: Barking Dogs, Fence Boards Stolen and Family Horseplay Draws a Police Call

It was a rather quiet Christmas Eve in Benicia.

Here are the calls from the Benicia Police Daily Activity Report for Dec. 24, 2011.

7:16 a.m. There was a report of a car door being open on Chelsea Hills Drive. The owner of the vehicle was contacted.

8:02 a.m. Police received a call of a barking dog on Arguello Drive. The report was sent to the acting commanding officer for a follow-up.

9:46 a.m. A civil standby was requested for a child being exchanged between parents on East B Street.

12:40 p.m. Police took a report for unauthorized charges to a bank account on Dale Court.

3:26 p.m. Six boards were taken from a home’s fence on James Street.

7:56 p.m. Police were called to document a violation of a court order on West J Street.  

8:13 p.m. Dispatch received a report of a family disturbance on Columbia Circle. It turned out cousins were just “playing around.”

11:12 p.m.  Police were called to an address on West Fifth Street after a verbal fight ensued over a noise issue between neighbors. Police issued a warning.

11:33 p.m. Police were called to a report of a vehicle possibly being tampered with on Oxford Way. It was checked and the tire pressure was just low with nothing criminal being done.
