Police Log: Halloween was Ghost Free for Benicia Police

Some goblins created a little problem in Solano Square, but for the most part it was a quiet Halloween in Benicia.

In an odd twist on an old crime, a trailer designed for carrying cars was reported stolen but no cars were stolen.  A dog was found and a few alarms went off when they weren’t supposed to.

12:04 a.m.: There was a 911 call from a business on Goodyear Road.  Officers couldn’t find anything wrong or anyone who may have called.

3:34 a.m.: A guy on Lindo was yelling at the dog for having an accident.  Officers asked him not to yell so loudly.

Editor’s Note:  Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
