Police Log: Late Night Box Breaking Disturbs Benicia Neighbors

No barking dogs made the police log but traffic jams and late night box breaking kept the day lively.

Police responded to a report of a man hitting a house with a shovel early Wednesday morning.  What they found was a man breaking up a box.  The police report didn’t specify if it was a ballot box and the man was unhappy with the direction the election was taking or if we has just taking out the garbage.  The road work on Columbus Parkway caused big backups and prompted many complaints by drivers.
