3:01 p.m.: There was an accidental activation of a residential alarm on Jasper.

3:57 p.m.: A yelling match on Carolina between two people unhappy with each other ended before officers arrived.

4:35 p.m.: The owner of a trailer illegally parked on Sunset agreed to move the trailer.

4:48 p.m.: Those people who were sleeping in the car on West M Street had driven away before officers arrived.

6:32 p.m.: A car stereo was stolen on Military East.

8:41 p.m.: The car backing down the on-ramp to I-780 had cleared the area before officers arrived.

9:42 p.m.: Police had a nice conversation with the people responsible for the broken glass on Baker.

9:51 p.m.: A business alarm at a business on East Industrial Way malfunctioned.

Editor’s Note:  Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
