Police: Man Crawls Through Skylight Window To Meet Woman

SUSPECT: Tai Aczon 20 year old male San Francisco Resident
VICTIM: 19 year old female Benicia Resident
SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
During the early morning hours on January 6, 2014, an apartment resident in the 300 block of First Street called the Benicia Police Department to report someone had broken into his apartment and was now seated on his couch refusing to leave the apartment.
Benicia Police Officers responded and ultimately placed Tai Aczon under arrest for Burglary and Stalking. It was determined that Aczon had forced open a rooftop sky light and entered the apartment.
Aczon was searching for the apartment owner’s daughter, whom he has known since attending high school with her. It was learned during the investigation that Aczon had begun texting and calling the 19 year old female victim around Christmas of 2013. During these texts and phone calls, Aczon professed his love for the victim.
Over 40 text messages and phone calls have allegedly taken place. The victim informed police she has never been in a dating relationship with Aczon and only knows him from high school and a few mutual friends.
The victim had on numerous times asked Aczon to quit texting and calling her, which he refused to comply with. Aczon refused to speak to the police when questioned about this incident. Neither the apartment owner nor the 19 year old female victim were injured or threatened during this incident.
Aczon was later booked into the Solano County Jail in Fairfield on the Burglary and Stalking charges. No further identifying information will be provided about the female victim.
