Authorities are investigating an apparent suicide off the Benicia-Martinez Bridge.
Sometime Monday afternoon, a person jumped from the bridge and landed in the area of Bayshore Road in Benicia, authorities say.
That road is currently closed, Benicia Police say.
Update: The Benicia Herald reports the individual who jumped was a 26-year-old man. A California Highway Patrol spokesman has not returned calls from Patch at the time of this posting.
