Wells Fargo Robbed

At 11:29 a.m. on Tuesday, Benicia police received a 911 call from a teller at the Wells Fargo Bank inside the Raley's supermarket at 892 Southampton Road reporting a robbery.

The caller said the suspect approached a teller and demanded money. The teller handed the suspect an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect then placed the cash in a bag and was last seen leaving the store. No one saw the suspect enter a vehicle and police do not have any leads.

The suspect was described as a black male adult, 40-50 years old, 5 foot 8 to 6 feet tall, stocky build, wearing a blue plaid shirt over a black hooded sweatshirt and wearing a black baseball cap.
