Benicia Mayoral Election Results in 2003, 2007

Here's what Benicia voters said the last two times they selected a mayor.

In 2007, Elizabeth Patterson won her first term, defeating Bill Whitney. She took over for Steve Messina, who had won re-election in a three-candidate race in 2003.

Interestingly, more votes were cast absentee in the 2007 election than were cast at the polls.
