Meet Your Officials Night

The community is invited to attend “Meet Your Officials Night” sponsored by the League of Women Voters Benicia. This is an opportunity for residents and business owners to connect with city and county officials in a convivial setting. This is a low-key event, no speeches, no program, just a chance to meet with elected and appointed officials, and city department heads.”  Among those invited are members of the Benicia City Council and School Board, along with County Supervisor Linda Seifert, and other elected officials. An added feature to this year’s event is an opportunity to register to vote.

This year’s event will be held at downtown businesses Piccolo and Shirocos at 216 First Street beginning at 6:30.  The event is free and open to the public. The event is hosted by the League of Women Voters Benicia, a non-profit, nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government.
