How about the Best Men's store. Oops I forgot; we don't have any!!!!!! However if you were to consider other than Men''s clothes then Pedrotti's Hardware would get my vote for Best Men's store.

Studio 41 is always my first stop when I am looking for a gift. I can always find something there. I also love the great selection of cards at Benicia Bay. The other day I stopped in at Elisha's Closet and was so surprised by all the treasures she pulled out to show me. They were amazing. Romancing The Home is fantastic for freshening up the homestead. Benicia is a great place to shop.

NOT!!! No diversity in its' hiring practices and in this day and age when the un-employment rate among African-Ameicans' is double and in some instances, triple that of their white counter part; that's a deal breaker for me and should be for all fair minded people.

I am happy to see that Bookshop Benicia has relocated to the downtown area. Now we can have our only independent bookstore in Solano County(and perhaps other counties) be in our beautiful and lively downtown. May Bookshop Benicia live long and prosper. What a good move!

Katherine, I worked for Codys' Book Store for over ten years in Berkeley. I loved it and I was the first African-American to go down and open the FOURTH STREET store from telegraph. Unfortunately, it closed. I was also shop stewart for the local union there, now I forget the number!!!
