Make raw healthy chocolate in your very own kitchen.

if you're eating chocolate, why not have the best, most beneficial chocolate for your health and taste buds? Get the amazing health benefits of adding this superfood into your life.

Why would you want to teach yourself how to make super healthy and delicious raw chocolate treats in your home? Using raw superfoods ingredients means there is no guilt, and no highly processed sugar or chemicals mixed in with your healthy chocolate. Your chocolates can be dairy free, and even low-glycemic. It’s easy and good for your health and you’ll love the taste. Watch out though, it might become a passion.  Start with a bit of raw cacao (you can use unsweetened dutch-processed cocoa in a pinch) and melt an equal portion of coconut oil. Mix together with a fork, a whisk or in a blender. Then, add a sweetener of your choice. Notes on sweeteners: Zylotol is a no-glycemic sweetener. This is toxic to birds and dogs so keep it out of reach from pets. Another no-glycemic sweetener is stevia, the powder form is better for these chocolates. Stevia is a hundred times sweeter than regular sugar, so go easy. Honey would be considered a medium glycemic sweetener and is the sweetener I prefer. Honey has anti-bacterial properties as well as pre-biotics and is used when added moisture is welcome, as in when you have a sore throat or cough. Do not over mix or clumping will occur. By no means is the chocolate ruined, it’ll just be clumpy! Cacao is a catalyst and acts as a delivery system to get other super ingredients into your body, (so add some great spices, raw nuts and dried fruit) and has an amazing mineral content. Raw cacao is over the top in vitamin C (cooking destroys vitamin C) and the highest magnesium of any food. It also has manganese. Once the ingredients are blended together, pour on a piece of parchment paper and chill. Now, enjoy your very own raw chocolate.
