Benicia High Panther Band To Perform Free Concert for Community

The band is also collecting canned good donations for a local food bank.

On Wednesday, November 16 at 7pm, the Panther Band will perform , in the Performing Arts Building (Hayley Horn Auditorium) at 1100 Military West. 

It will feature their Jazz and Symphonic bands, as well as their Wind Ensemble.  They will be performing classical and jazz pieces, many of which have placed them in award winning categories during their current season. 

All ages are welcome.  The concert is free, but donations are warmly accepted.  In addition, guests are encouraged to bring a canned good item, which the band will donate to the Contra Costa/Solano Food Bank.

They appreciate all the community support, and want to pay it forward by providing a charitable act in return.

The band is in the middle of a very , and are traveling to New York in March to perform in the prestigious St. Patrick's Day Parade.  This parade is seen by hundreds of thousands of spectators along the route, and is regarded as the most popular parade in New York City.  Come and get a preview of what Benicia's High School band can do.
