Election Results: Patterson Wins Re-Election
Patterson wins mayoral race, Campbell, Strawbridge win council seats. Stewart re-elected to school board, and Wing the has second seat.
has won her re-election bid in the Benicia mayoral race against Councilman with most ballots counted.
With almost 7,255 votes tallied, Patterson has a 210-vote lead. It's unclear how many absentee ballots were turned in at the polls Tuesday. Those ballots are not counted election night. About 8,000 votes were cast in the last two Benicia mayoral elections.

In the election for the Benicia Unified School District board, incumbent easily won another term, and is ahead for the second seat against incumbent and challenger . Wing has a 228-vote margin over Donahue.
The registrar of voters estimates there are 1,200 provisioinal and defective ballots from throughout the county left to be counted.
